I’m very happy to announce that I am now doing spiritual counseling with couples before their weddings.  When people were more “religious”, they used to attend services at their local house of worship regularly, and they had a relationship with a Rabbi, Priest, etc.  These days, people are a lot more free flowing in their spiritual practice. And they tend not to have a personal relationship with a member of the clergy. It is still important to talk about how you will walk together on your spiritual path, how you will raise your children (if you have any), and your beliefs around your deaths.  These are hard and important questions that need discussion before you get married, to ensure you are on the same page and to give you time to negotiate through your differences of opinion.
